Burnt Bridge Creek, 2017, two video projections with soundscape

Darkness falls, a blanket of comfort. Sleepy eyes awaken. Restless movements and pent up energy, diffusing through the sky.

Burnt Bridge Creek is an exploration of the atmospheric energies of a place and the creatures that inhabit it. An overgrown natural pocket in suburbia, the creek is home to thousands of native flying foxes, a thratened species often disliked and misunderstood.

This work was shown in 2017 at the Sydney College of the Arts Graduation Exhibiton.
